What if the weather’s bad?
Tours will run rain, shine or snow. If a tour is canceled due to extreme weather conditions, you will receive a refund or credit for a future tour.
What should I wear? What should I bring?
We'll be outside much of the time so dress appropriately for the weather. Wear comfortable walking shoes, bring a bottle of water, and don't forget your camera!
Are tips accepted?
Gratuities are greatly appreciated!
How long is the tour? How much walking do we do?
Budget three hours for the tour. Please arrive ten minutes early so we can begin the tour on time. We walk about one and a half miles or less and make frequent stops. There are opportunities to break.
Can I book a private or group tour?
May I shop on the tour?
Guests are not discouraged from shopping on the tour if it doesn't take too much time. Note that it is Made in Brooklyn Tours policy to refuse any kickbacks or commissions for purchases made.
Is there parking near the starting point?
Does the tour end at the same place we start?
No, tours end a short distance from the starting point.
Are there restrooms on the tour?
Please use the restroom before the tour starts. Restrooms are available on the tour. If you need to use one, please do so once we arrive at a location where one is available.
Are tours offered in other languages?
At this time all tours are in English only.
Can I bring a pet?
No. Pets aren't permitted in locations we'll visit.
Are your tours appropriate for children?
Are tours wheelchair and baby stroller accessible?
The route we'll take is difficult to navigate with a wheelchair or stroller.
Are these food or beverage tours?
Strictly speaking, Made in Brooklyn Tours aren't food or beverage tours though there may be tasting opportunities on any given tour.
