What if the weather’s bad?

Tours will go on rain, shine or snow. If a tour is canceled due to extreme weather conditions, you will receive credit for a future tour.

What should I wear? What should I bring?

We'll be outside much of the time so dress appropriately for the weather. Wear comfortable walking shoes, bring a bottle of water, and don't forget your camera!

Are tips accepted?

Gratuities are greatly appreciated!

How long is the tour? How much walking do we do?

Budget at least four hours for the tour. Please arrive ten minutes early so we can begin the tour on time. Below are the distances we walk for each tour:

• Bensonhurst 2 1/3 Miles
• DUMBO 1 1/10 Miles
• Red Hook 1 1/3 Miles
• Williamsburg 1 1/2 Miles

Can I book a private or group tour?

Yes, private and group tours are available. Email Dom for more information.

Is there parking near the starting point?

It depends on the neighborhood we visit. Check Parking Facilities in New York City and BestParking.com for the most convenient parking.

Does the tour end at the same place we start?

No, tours end a short distance from the starting point.

Are there restrooms on the tour?

Please use the restroom before the tour starts. Restrooms are available on the tour. If you need to use one, please do so once we arrive at a location where one is available.

Can I shop on the tour?

You may do a little shopping on the tour if there's time available. I encourage you to return to your favorite stops after the tour to shop, eat or drink. Show them your ticket and you may even catch a break!

Are tours offered only in English?

Yes, tours are only offered in English at this time.

Can I bring a pet?

No. Pets aren't permitted in locations we’ll visit.

Are your tours appropriate for children?

My tours are designed for adults. They are not appropriate for young children and infants.

Are tours wheelchair and baby stroller accessible?

The route we’ll take is difficult to navigate with a wheelchair or stroller.

Are these food or beverage tours?

Strictly speaking, Made in Brooklyn Tours aren't food or beverage tours though there may be tasting opportunities on any given tour.
